April 15, 2010 - James King officially announces his bid for the State Senate

Hello and welcome to the King for Senate website.

On April 15th I officially announced my bid for the State Senate. As a State Delegate representing the 33rd legislative district, I have fought against tax and fee increases, worked to reduce unnecessary government regulations, and prioritized safety for home, schools, and the community.

As a small business owner, I understand the day-to-day struggles of the working families of Maryland, first-hand. We have high levels of unemployment, furloughs, personal financial crises, and new challenges daily. We need more fiscal conservatives in the General Assembly to help alleviate some of the financial stress on Maryland's hard-working families. During the past four years as a Delegate, I have fought tirelessly against tax increases, have supported and sponsored charitable organizations, schools and churches in our community. And I understand that my duty is to my community not to the political establishment.

I hope to gain your support and to expand upon those efforts as your State Senator.
